Image Transfer Mixed Media Art Quilt

Nov. 30, 2019 10 am – 3 pm

(Some basic beginner quilt knowledge helpful but not necessary)

This workshop will open your eyes to lots of new ways to approach quilt making and fabric design.  I will first show you how to transfer an image to fabric.  Then we will use GOLDEN High Flow Acrylics to paint on our fabric with brushes and stencils, we will stitch with free-motion and embroidery, add beads or buttons, and other fabric in applique and piecing and produce a small quilt piece that can then be turned into a wall hanging, pillow or market bag.  image transfer

I will provide all the materials and images, unless you have a particular image you would like to work from.  It must be a laser printed copy.  I get mine done at Office Max because they have really good paper for this process.  You can use any kind of image, though for our workshop I recommend black and white and line images work the best.
