Pet Portraits Workshop

July 20, 2019 – 10-3 pm

In this workshop, I will teach you my approach to painting a pet portrait.  You can bring a picture of any type of pet and we will explore techniques for achieving a fun portrait of you furry friend or someone else’s.  From realistic to whimsical, we will explore a myriad of ways to approach the portrait with a handful of fun warm ups to get our creative muses stirred up.  We will work in acrylics on panels.  Paint provided.  You will need a few supplies of your own and bring a brown bag lunch.

Mixed Media Shrines Workshop

July 27 & 28, 2019       (10-3 pm/12-3 pm)

In this two-day workshop, we will be constructing a shrine using polymer mosaic tiles, glass tiles, found objects, image transfer, and collage.  The shrines will be supported on a wood structure which can be free stand or wall hangings.  Some materials will be provided, you will need to bring some supplies, mostly items you may already have.  Space is limited so register soon.  Supply List provided upon registration.

Air Dry Clay Sculpture Workshop

August 17 & 18  (10-3 pm & 12-3 pm)

In this two day workshop, I will teach you a few types of clay bodies that air dry, we will built an armature and sculpt a small figure on the first day, on the second day we will complete the figure by painting and adding mixed media finishes to complete our figure.  Some supplies and paints provided, you will receive a small supply list upon registration.   Bring Brown Bag lunch on first day.20160413_113411

Two Day Workshop



Vintage Tales – Collage

August 31   10-3 pm

In this workshop we will explore the use of several mediums and papers as well as image transfers to create a vintage collage that tells a tale of old. (I will add sample images shortly).

We will dive into folk lore or family tales and expand on a story to create a unique work on birch panel.  Most materials will be provided.  Small supply list and you will need to bring a Brown Bag Lunch.  Space limited.
